The Roads We Travel featured 2 distinct poster designs. The first, Bajan poster, was designed with specific consideration of the audience of Barbados.

Visually dramatic and symbolic.

The sugar cane is an icon Bajans identify with. Especially inspired by the Barbados Coat of Arms.

The apple being the symbol of New York. The protagonist weighs her options between staying in Barbados and pursuing higher education in New York; much in the same way the hand struggles to hold the fruit.

This design focused on the imagery at the beginning and end of the film. The protagonist feels as though she is drowning under the weight of her decision, and so she is rendered in this illustrative poster.
